Let me tell you all about my new best neighbor friends. Mom is a cosmetologist and dad is a project accountant. They moved from Virginia to Colorado to be with all of their family (and probably mostly to be close to me, hehe. But we are like one street away neighbors. Our similarities don't end there. Mom started out in retail, and can you believe this, even worked at Guess. If you didn't know, I did too, and loved it! Did I just find my new best friend?

Eleanor is the family's first girl and we were excited to incorporate the all girly frills but make each scene timeless. I think we nailed it. Eleanor truly understood the assignment. She was so lovely to work with she must have enjoyed being a model, or at least her perfect little smile made me think so. I love when moms choose blue for girls and this deep blue couldn't be more perfect. I loved this session so much, we printed a linen album for studio display, ask to see the album at your session.

It's no secret that I love sibling images, but with brothers like Alex you can totally the reason why. At one point during the session brother started to take a nap, we really tried to capture both siblings sleeping and Alex was such a trooper through it all. I often hear that parents are concerned their siblings are too young to participate in the photoshoot, know that we train for this and we got it. We have all the tools and tricks to keep young siblings engaged. For those extra wiggly ones, we even have extra poses, noise makers, and props that help take the pressure off the photoshoot for siblings.
