Newborn Model Call: Everything you want to know
Newborn photography is an art that requires constant learning, practice, and education. Your newborn photographer should be participating in seminars, mentoring, or even online classes to help them stay on top of trends, shooting styles, and safety. I personally strive to attend at least one event monthly and am very fortunate to have been chosen as a mentee for an elite newborn photography team.
With every new trick, trend, and prop, practice is required to get it right. Every final image you see from Tiny Details Photography is a collective of hours, months, and years of practice to produce.
With that in mind, I often host model calls to try out these new learnings. As we all do, I have been known to bubble when learning new stuff so the practice is not always as graceful as I would like. Gaining the knowledge from hands on experience is how I can ensure we get the best images for your session.
What do I get for being a model
Most model calls held by Tiny Details Photography will offer a number of digital images for free. Often using the prop, item, or technique intended for the model call.
What does the model call session include?
Every model call is treated like a full newborn session and includes the following: Consultation appointment, 2-4 hour studio session, viewing appointment, access to all props and client closet, and additional images and product available to purchase.
How Often are model call sessions available
Tiny Details Photography will host model calls based on the needs of the photographer. And although there is not a set number of sessions or dates, its recommended that if you are interested in a model call session, simply let your photographer know at your consultation appointment as there may be an unadvertised need for a model call.
