I'm Jennifer, the photographer behind Tiny Details Photography, and I know how quickly those first few weeks can fly by. Between preparing for your baby's arrival and figuring out what life looks like with a newborn, photography can feel like one more thing on an already very full list.
That's why I've designed my newborn sessions to be something you can simply look forward to.

I take a limited number of newborn sessions each month so I can give every family the time and attention they deserve.
Here's what my calendar currently looks like:

These openings are based on expected due dates, not the exact day we'll photograph your baby.
Babies have their own schedules, after all!
Once your little one arrives, we'll work together to choose your session date.
And if your baby is already here? Please reach out anyway. I photograph older newborns, too, and I'm always happy to check my calendar.
A Fully Styled Newborn Photography Experience
One of my favorite parts of newborn photography is creating the little scenes that make each session special.
Sometimes it's a beautifully wrapped baby surrounded by soft textures. Sometimes it's a tiny bear bonnet, a sweet little giraffe, or a baby resting in a dreamy moon setup.
And sometimes the simplest portrait, with nothing distracting from those perfect little features, becomes everyone's favorite.
I love all of it.
Before your session, we'll chat about the colors you love, the things that are meaningful to your family, and anything you'd especially like to see.
Then I'll put everything together.
My southeast Aurora home studio is filled with wraps, bonnets, headbands, outfits, backgrounds, and props, so there's no need to go shopping or spend hours planning.
And Yes, Your Family Is Included!
Your baby might be the newest member of the family, but this is part of your story, too.
Parent and sibling portraits are included in every newborn session, with no additional session fee.
I love photographing those first family connections. The way a newborn fits into a parent's arms. A big brother or sister leaning in for a closer look. The little moments that show just how much has changed.
We'll make time for those portraits along with all the beautifully styled images of your baby.
What Does Newborn Photography Cost?
I believe you should know what to expect before booking.
My newborn session fee is $250, which covers my time photographing your family, use of my studio wardrobe and props, session styling, and your private ordering appointment.
Portraits and artwork are purchased separately, so you can choose the images and products you love.
Fine art digital portraits are $45 each, with a 15-portrait minimum. My Complete Story option is $1,800.
I also offer beautiful ways to preserve your portraits, including framed wall art, fine art albums, and matted print collections.

When Should You Reserve Your Newborn Session?
I recommend reaching out during your second trimester whenever possible.
That gives us time to reserve space around your due date and talk through your session before life gets a little busier.
But please don't worry if you're further along or your baby has already arrived.
Some of my favorite portraits have been created with babies who were well past those first couple of weeks.
