Bjorn came to me for his newborn session last year, he nailed the bucket pose and looked so cute in his hand-crafted matching sleeping hat and wrap. I printed one of his newborn images on canvas to adorn my studio walls. I love looking at it day in and day out. Mom and I go way back. We worked together at the City and became close friends. Lucky for me I was able to get this perfect little family in for maternity, milestone and now cake smash.
Bjorn means Bear in translation, so we surely had fun in his sessions dressing little dude like a bear. He didn’t mind at all. In fact, I might say he felt right at home nestled with my fluffy bear collection. I created a new bear outfit using matching material from his newborn session. This custom-made outfit surely helps to demonstrate how fast these littles grow. I am so fortunate to have been chosen to capture these moments.
That's My Model
Bjorn was born to model for Tiny Details Photography, Okay so likely not the only reason, but definitely the cutest reason so far. He came in ready to work. I recently heard of little Bjorn not doing well for school photos, I understand he even cried. I am nearly certain if we could speak baby talk though, that his cries would have translated into ‘that’s not my photographer’ because kid was ready for his close up for me.
With a name like Bjorn, and outdoor Colorado adventurous like mom and dad, its no surprise that a mountain themed cake smash would be the perfect setting. Dressed in leather suspenders and a hunger worked up from all that milestone smiling, this dude made cake smashing look good. The set was created around a number 1 prop that was painted by grandma. These little hand-made touches make the images so very special and I love to incorporate them!
