💭 Creative Newborn Session Ideas — Without the Homework

(Read this before your consultation — it’ll make you feel ready, promise!)

First things first — you don’t have to do a single thing. No Pinterest boards, no props, no outfits, no themes.Just bring your baby. I’ll handle everything else. ✨

That said, before your consultation, it can help to think about the story you want your photos to tell. Not a “theme,” really — more like what makes your family you.

💕 Think About Who You’re Honoring

When we chat on the phone, I’ll ask a few things about your family — little clues that help me design your session.

Maybe grandma has a favorite flower 🌸Maybe dad’s a firefighter 🚒Maybe your baby’s nickname is “Little Monkey” 🐒Or maybe grandma collects giraffes and we give a little wink to her in the setup.

I’ve done all of those — and honestly, they always end up being the most meaningful photos. These tiny nods to your family story are the heart behind every image.

🧸 Themes Are Optional (and I’ve Got Plenty!)

If you do love a good theme, I’ve got you covered. You don’t need to bring a thing or plan anything out — just tell me what you love, and I’ll do the rest.

Over the years, I’ve created everything from astronauts 🚀 to nurses, tigers, and my personal favorite — bears. 🐻It’s become a tiny tradition in the studio. I collect bears, and every session gets its own baby bear added to the collection. So when I dress your little one as a bear, it’s not just adorable — it’s personal. Your baby becomes part of the growing story on my shelf, and it’s one of the sweetest parts of what I do.

So if you have something special — a career, a family tradition, a sweet inside joke — tell me! I’ll make it happen safely, beautifully, and uniquely yours.

🏡 Think About Where These Photos Will Live

This one’s important. When I’m setting up your session, I’m not just thinking about the lighting or the wrap — I’m thinking about where you’ll see this image every day.

👶 Over the crib in the nursery?🖼️ A statement piece in the living room?📖 Or maybe an heirloom album for your coffee table?

Your home, your colors, your vibe — I design every detail to flow perfectly with you.
