A Year of Tiny Details — Reflecting on a Beautiful Year in the Studio

As this year comes to a close, I’ve found myself slowing down and looking back at the tiny moments that made it so meaningful. The curled toes. The sleepy stretches. The brand-new parents learning their baby’s rhythms in real time. The quiet, sacred first days that pass so quickly — and deserve to be remembered forever.

This year in the Tiny Details studio was filled with so much beauty. New life. Growing families. Babies who changed everything for the people who love them most.

The Moments That Stay With Me


Every newborn session is different, but there are patterns that always emerge — and they’re the reason I love this work so deeply.

  • Tiny hands wrapped around a finger for the first time

  • A baby’s profile catching the light just right

  • Parents holding their breath, realizing this is really happening

  • The calm that settles into the room once baby finally drifts off

These are the moments that don’t always make it into phone photos. They’re quiet. Fleeting. Easy to forget in the blur of newborn life. That’s why documenting them matters so much.


More Than Photos — A Pause in Time


Newborn photography isn’t about perfection. It’s about presence.

My goal with every session is to create space — space to slow down, space to breathe, and space to soak in the beginning of your baby’s story. Everything in the studio is prepared for you so you don’t have to make decisions or perform. You can simply show up as you are and love your baby.

That’s where the magic lives.

To every family who trusted me this year — thank you. Thank you for inviting me into such a tender season of your lives. Thank you for trusting my hands, my process, and my heart with something so important.

It is never lost on me what an honor this is.

As we step into a new year, I’m carrying forward everything that worked beautifully — calm sessions, intentional styling, and a deep respect for how overwhelming (and incredible) the newborn stage can be.
